Porcelain Veneers? What happens to your real teeth?
After getting your teeth capped with porcelain veneers, what happens to the real teeth.. do they rot because you cant actually clean them?

no they wont rot, but if you are really going to do it, i suggest you get lumineers instead of veneers. because when you get veneers, they have to numb you because they drill away your teeth for them to fit over it. with lumineers they are as thin as a contact lense and they dont have to numb you because there is very minimal to no drilling at all. so if for some reason later you wanted to have them removed or something, your whole tooth will still be there. with veneers it won’t be. good luck!

They have to grind them down…and glue them in over your teeth. They won’t rot because the glue seals them…so they never get dirty…it’s just the outside that gets dirty…the veneers….which stays clean since you would be brushing them…..hopefully!
